About Heichal Meir Yeshiva
"Heichal Meir" is a non-profit organization, operating under the non-profit organization "Avnei Nezer Chochma" (Reg. No. 580231587). The Yeshiva was founded in 2004 under the leadership of Rabbi Zamir Cohen, Shlit"a, with the goal of bringing Jews closer to the Beit Midrash (house of study) and a life of Torah.
The Yeshiva was established following the Rabbi's lectures and books, which raised awareness among the people of Israel and created a strong desire to deepen their knowledge of Judaism. The students of the Yeshiva are mostly IDF veterans, aged 16-30, who have chosen to distance themselves from worldly distractions and devote themselves to a life of Torah. During their time at the Yeshiva, they learn the values of the Torah and receive spiritual and practical training for a life based on Jewish law.
Our Goals
Our main goal is to help young adults and army veterans deal with life's challenges and find personal meaning and purpose. We work to achieve these goals through:

Spiritual and Social Rehabilitation: Providing a supportive educational framework and personal guidance for young men in a full boarding environment. This includes lodging, meals, and close personal support, which helps them acquire the tools to cope with life and develop a stable lifestyle.

Professional Training: Offering vocational training in religious professions, such as scribal arts and kosher supervision. This provides them with the ability to earn a dignified living and leads to financial security and independence.

Marriage Preparation and Family Guidance: Offering comprehensive personal guidance and counseling for young men, from pre-marriage preparation to building a stable, healthy, and happy home that will serve as a social and community anchor for generations.
Our Activities
Our mission is to assist young men who seek to connect to Judaism in a deeper way — to explore the truth with honesty and integrity, and to gain both the spiritual and practical tools needed to grow in Torah and in the service of Hashem in a purposeful and meaningful manner.
The Yeshiva’s Paths of Growth:

Full Dormitory Program: We provide full accommodations for post-army students, including meals and lodging, also on Shabbat and Yomim Tovim.

Spiritual Development: We strive to instill in each student the spiritual and practical tools to advance in Torah and avodat Hashem.

Torah Studies: The students study classical Mussar sefarim such as Orchos Tzaddikim, Mesillas Yesharim, Shaarei Teshuvah, and others. They also learn two daily sedarim of Gemara — both bekius and iyun. In addition, there is a daily shiur in Mishnah Berurah delivered by Rosh HaYeshiva, HaRav Zamir Cohen shlit”a, who teaches halachah in a clear yet thorough way, while answering questions and clarifying essential issues in halachah and Jewish hashkafah. Altogether, the students dedicate close to 9 hours daily to limud haTorah.

Tefillah: All tefillos are held within the Yeshiva, enabling the talmidim to gradually internalize the halachic and spiritual depth of proper tefillah.

Vocational Training: Support in gaining professional certification for Torah-based parnassah opportunities (such as sofrim, mashgichei kashrus, and more).

Personal Guidance: Each talmid receives close mentoring in integrating Torah values into his life and in preparing to build a strong and stable Jewish home. Those in need are also supported by former talmidim — now married avreichim — who share their experience and encouragement.
Support Our Mission
We warmly invite the wider public to take part in supporting the Yeshiva’s holy work through donations via our website or by phone. You are also welcome to send us your halachic and hashkafic questions, as well as names for tefillah. These are brought by the talmidim of the Yeshiva in heartfelt prayer.
